The Yuma County Detention Center is a maximum security prison located in Yuma, AZ with a capacity of approximately 756 inmates. According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Detention Bureau, the facility was designed to “receive, process, and house inmates who are detained prior to trial, as well as inmates in different phases of the criminal justice system.”

The Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) located in Yuma is one of the 13 state correctional facilities located in Arizona.
